Job Description:

Fulfill a senior systems engineering advisor and leadership role supporting DoD and Intelligence Community programs. Support programmatic, cost, technical, and schedule planning and management. Perform strategic and developmental planning, requirements and systems analysis, and manage modeling and simulation activities for complex command and control systems. Develop acquisition strategies and plans, lead integrated product teams, and mentor and develop staff into leaders. Manage assignments of technical personnel and assignment execution. Work closely with government program office personnel, FFRDC management and technical staff, and industry prime contractors. Perform extensive interfacing with senior leaders within the program office and various external DoD agencies.

 

 

Qualifications

  • 15 + years of experience with DoD systems development and program management
  • Experience with supporting the management of systems-level integration
  • Experience with the development of strategies, roadmaps, and investment plans for DoD systems acquisitions
  • Experience with systems engineering and program management on classified programs
  • Knowledge of C4I systems development and acquisition
  • Knowledge of the management of cost, integration, and test activities for C4I systems
  • Ability to analyze, organize, manage, and resolve complex technical problems

 

 

Education/Certifications or equivalent required:

 

BS degree in Engineering (MS Preferred) or a related field required
