Job Description:
Support planning and executing DoD C4I system development and acquisition. Applies systems engineeing skills to the development and implementation of C4I engineering applications. Applies the latest C4I communications and telecommunications engineering knowledge and principles to extremely complex problems involving C4I communications and automated systems.
Education: MS degree Computer Science, Communications Technology, Electrical Engineering
Required Skills:
Minimum of 15 years specific and related experience inclusive of the following:

Five (5) years experience in the last eight (8) years working in high speed communications, communications engineering, teleconferencing, and video teleconferencing procedures using commercial and military communications equipment, techniques, and protocols.

Interfacing computer equipment with dial-up, switched 56KB and higher data rate speeds, satellite, ATM/SONET, Fiber optic Digital Distributed Information (FDDI), and T1/T3 and higher conventional and fiber optics circuits.

High speed modems, multiplexers, computer LAN bridges, gateways, routers, and military encryption devices.

Distributed simulation/exercise communications and network requirements.

Communication design, installation, and maintenance of local area networks using front-end processors, file servers, gateways, bridges, and other data communications architecture such as frame relays IS DN, virtual private networks, support to operating systems, UNIX, NT and network attached storage systems.

Network protocols such IP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, RIP, OSPF, HSRP, VRRP, EIGRP, BGP, DVMRP, PIM, and SIP.

Various waveforms such as PSK, FSK, MSK, and QAM and FECs – convolutional and block.

Use a Network Analyzer to capture and read network traces to troubleshoot C4I systems.

Communications Link Analyzer to measure link parameters to troubleshoot C4I systems
