Courses

AGI Phenomenology, Requirements, and Products

Students will be introduced to four areas of AGI: Synthetic Aperture Radar, Thermal Infrared, Multi- and Hyper-Spectral, and Overhead Persistent Infrared techniques. For each technique the course provides: (1) Phenomenology review; (2) Detail on current and future capabilities and applications; (3) A summary of national, civil and commercial sources; and more.

Clearance: TS/SCI

Duration: 4 days

Price: $1495

Location: Dayton, OH, Washington DC, Hunstville, AL, or at your facility
Fundamentals of Advanced Geospatial Intelligence

Students are introduced to the two sub-disciplines of MASINT that comprise AGI: Radar and Electro-Optical, to include Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR). You’ll learn about the AGI community and its history. You’ll gain an understanding of basic AGI capabilities, participate in a discussion of AGI products, real-world applications and signatures.

Clearance: TS/SCI. This course can be made available at the SECRET/NOFORN level.

Introduction to Overhead Persistent Infrared

This course is mathematically and scientifically rigorously correct, but will be taught with phenomenological comprehension in mind. It will cover: (1) The propagation and attenuation of infrared radiation through the atmosphere to an OPIR sensor; (2) The physics and geometry of OPIR sensor orbits; and more.

Clearance: TS/SCI. This course can be made available at the SECRET/NOFORN level.

Introduction to Over-the-Horizon Radar (OTHR)

The student will be provided with a broad perspective of these complex sensors, covering the scientific to the operational. It will include a look at the necessary hardware, propagation tools and operational and signal processing techniques that allow an electromagnetic equivalent of finding needles in haystacks.
